The Local S6 Negotiating Committee is happy to announce we’ve arrived at a Tentative Agreement (TA) with the company. Please see the TA contract highlights below. We hope to have PDF’s of the TA contract for members later tonight, Monday morning we will have copies of the entire agreement to distribute to the membership for review. Article 19: COMPENSATION

The wage rates for all grades above were determined based on the following General Wage Increases (GWIs):

  • Year 1: 17.00%
  • Year 2: 4.00%
  • Year 3: 4.00%
  • Year 4: 4.00%
  • Year 5: 4.00%

Article 17: HOLIDAYS

We kept all Holidays and Floaters, and added shutdown week as scheduled workdays with option of Code 14

  • 2026: December 24, 28, 29, 30, and 31 will be scheduled workdays, with option of Code 14.
  • 2027: December 27, 28, 29, and 30 will be scheduled workdays, with option of Code 14.
  • 2028: December 26, 27, 28, and 29 will be scheduled workdays, with option of Code 14.
  • 2029: December 24, 26, 27, 28, and 31 will be scheduled workdays, with option of Code 14.
  • 2030: December 24, 26, 27, 30, and 31 will be scheduled workdays, with option of Code 14.

 

Article 12: SECOND AND THIRD SHIFT PREMIUMS

Our Shift differential was increased from $1.75 to $2.50

 

Article 49: ATTENDANCE AT WORK

Personal Business time occurrences increased from 14 to 26.

½ hour Grace Lates are now able to be used at the beginning and end of shift

 

Article 21: Employee Benefits

Insurance premiums increase the first year but stay the same for the remainder of the contract.
