Day 3 of negotiations brought further progress. We came to tentative agreements on Article 8: Apprentices and Article 9: Probationary Employee. Additionally, Article 50: Rules of Conduct was tentatively agreed upon with no changes. We continue to pass multiple proposals back and forth with the company’s negotiators. At this point all non-economic articles are on the table and as we move into harder conversations the progress tends to slow. We are pushing hard to get into economic articles this week. As always, the support of the membership is greatly appreciated. The committee remains fiercely committed to delivering a CBA that Local S6 deserves.
