Shop Steward nominations for the above classification(s), shift and facility are now open.  Petitions may be picked up beginning on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Local S6 Union Hall.

You must be a member in good standing for one (1) year to run for Shop Steward and the petition must be signed by ten percent (10%) of the members in the classification(s) affected.

All petitions must be returned to the Recording Secretary (Ryan Ryder) no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of our Brother Rick Poulin (Q-tip) passing away due to complications from COVID-19. Q-tip was an Officer of IAM Local Lodge S6, with 31 years in the electric shop at Bath Iron Works. We lost our brother, our friend, and our family. Our hearts are with his wife Theresa, family, friends, and all who knew and worked with him. If you met Q-tip, you knew just how solid of a man he was. Caring, joyful, strong, and the kind of person you could always count on to make things fun. We will miss him every day and never forget how he touched our lives and made working with him unforgettable. We love you brother, rest in peace dear friend.”
